Dr. Negin Sedaghat, FRACS, is an Australian-trained Specialist General Surgeon with subspecialties in Breast Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Endocrine Surgery. She is BreastSurgANZ certified in Breast Surgery and has been awarded a Professional Certification with distinction in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery from the University of Sydney. As an integral member of both Breast Cancer and Endocrine Disease Multidisciplinary Teams, Dr. Sedaghat combines her surgical expertise with a compassionate and holistic approach to patient care.

Dr. Sedaghat’s primary interests are in breast health, breast cancer and surgical treatment of thyroid and parathyroid diseases, skin lesions, lumps, abdominal and groin hernia. She is dedicated to providing high-quality surgical care and works closely with a comprehensive team who share her expertise and commitment.

Committed to ensuring patient safety and long-term surgical outcomes, Dr. Sedaghat is now working at COSMEX, where she performs breast implant checks following surgery. These assessments play a crucial role in monitoring the integrity of implants, detecting potential complications such as capsular contracture, rupture, or implant malposition, and addressing patient concerns. She is available to any patient for breast implant health.

In addition to this Dr Sedaghat consults for breast screening and management of benign and malignant breast lumps. As part of a multidisciplinary team together with the Plastics team at COSMEX, Dr Sedaghat strives to achieve the best oncological and aesthetic results for every patient.
